  • A Barn Of Epic Proportions

  • Martin Solutions has built many barns and garages over the years. However, we took on an unusually large challenge in the spring of 2016. A regular customer of ours approached us with an idea to build a new horse barn that would measure 84 feet wide by 168 feet long. It would have 9 horse stalls, an indoor riding arena, and a viewing area. Never ones to shy away from a challenge, we said “yes” to the job and got to work.

We compiled some of our photos from the construction process thus far in order to offer a photo journal of the process.

The property owner had ordered a pre-fabricated metal building. As the materials for the building were being gathered and shipped, our crew went to work preparing the site and laying out the footers.

  • With the exterior complete, we could then turn our attention to work on the interior. The plan includes construction of 9 horse stalls, two storage rooms, a viewing room, kitchen, bathroom, and classroom. This interior construction begins with the concrete slab and framing for the areas that will eventually be finished space.
