  • Bush Hogging At The Airport

  • Visibility Is Important

If you're riding in an airplane, you would want your pilot to be able to see the runway, wouldn't you? Of course you would. Unfortunately, the pilots at Gene Snyder Airport in Falmouth, KY couldn't see the runway, at least not from the hangar area. We fixed all that in no time, though.

We came in one day with our bush hog attachment on our excavator. We made short work of the problem with the tool perfectly suited for the job. As you can see in the video above, the runway isn't visible from the taxiway before we started. However, the runway was easily visible after we were done. We removed years of overgrowth in a matter of hours.

Sidenote: The president of Martin Solutions is a licensed pilot and has a personal passion for flying. Working to improve local airports is particularly satisfying work because it is so closely associated with a personal interest. We look forward to doing more work at Gene Snyder Airport, and hope to do similar work for other airports in our region.
